We are not an insurance company, agency, broker, or producer. We are not licensed to sell insurance in any state and we do not. Nothing here is insurance advice, and no one at this site can bind coverage or tell you what to buy.

How the reviews are written

Each carrier review is compiled from the carrier's own published product materials and public reporting, and states plainly whether the company underwrites its own policies or places them with a third-party insurer. Where we could not verify something, we say so rather than filling the gap.

We review the whole list periodically and remove carriers that stop writing new business. Three companies that appeared on early versions of this site — Bestow, Haven Life, and Sproutt — no longer sell policies and have been removed for that reason. We would rather cover four live carriers properly than pad the list with names that cannot sell you anything.

How we make money

When a partner program admits us, we earn a commission if a visitor applies for coverage through a link here. It costs you nothing and does not change what we write. See the full disclosure.
