Independent comparison

Term life insurance,
usually without a medical exam.

Most healthy applicants under 55 can get covered by answering health questions online instead of sitting for a paramedical exam. We compare the carriers that do it, explain how they differ, and leave the decision to you.

What "no medical exam" actually means

A questionnaire replaces the needle

Instead of a paramedical visit, you answer questions about your health history. The insurer checks prescription, motor vehicle, and claims databases behind the scenes.

It is not automatic approval

You still get underwritten. Answers that conflict with the databases, higher coverage amounts, or certain conditions can route you into a full exam anyway.

It suits some people better than others

The economics work best for healthy applicants in their twenties to forties. If you have a complicated history, a traditional exam may actually get you a better rate.
